FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Registration

Q: I was not able to register before the deadline. Do I have any options for getting my player on a team?
A: We'll do our best to find your player a spot but can't guarantee we have space. Please join our Wait-list.

Q: I registered on time and I can see my player has been assigned to a team but I have not heard from the coach, when will I hear?

A: Do you have the TeamSideline? The most efficient way to communicate with your players' coach is by using the chat function in the app. Make sure you log in with the email address you used to register for soccer.

Coaches

Q: My player's coach has changed practice days and we have other activities that day. Can we move teams?
A: Yes, as long as there is a team with space available.

Q: I can see my player's team but not the coach, why is that?
A: We have a few coaches that are still working to complete their required training and background check. Once we have verified these requirements are complete, your coach will be given access to the roster and permission to communicate with the players.

Jersey Information

Q: I accidentally ordered the wrong size for my child - what can I do?
A: We can exchange jerseys for the appropriate size as long as they are unworn.

Q: Can we wear custom jerseys?
A:  No, all Spokane Rapids teams are required to wear the provided Spokane Rapids navy and white jerseys.

Q: What about socks and shorts?
A: Teams can choose to individualize socks and shorts for their team by picking a color, print, or pattern that everyone likes. Have fun with it if you want! Dick's Sporting Goods, Big 5, Walmart, Target, or any other sporting goods store are great places to find soccer socks!

Q: What about other teams that we play that don't have the same jerseys?
A: We have teams from three local organizations participating in games with our league this season - 90+ Project, IEYSA, and Surf REC teams. These teams will all have their own organization's jerseys to wear and it will state on your schedule if your opponent is from a participating organization so that it is clear to everyone why a team's jersey would be different.
