Practice Reservation information
Spokane Rapids supports coaches in securing the most suitable practice locations for their teams. See below for details on how to reserve our most frequently used facilities.
Attention: Middle and high school fields are extremely difficult to secure, as schools prioritize their own after-school sports programs. While we are happy to submit a reservation request to the Central Valley School District (CVSD) or East Valley School District (EVSD) on your behalf, coaches should always have a backup practice location available.
Fridays at Plante's Ferry Sports Complex
This is the easiest and quickest location to secure a reservation, as Spokane Rapids manages the Plante’s Ferry soccer fields. Please note that we only offer Friday practices at Plante's Ferry, as the fields are allocated to other clubs Monday through Thursday. Fields may also be shared depending on the number of teams in each division requesting space at this location.
Central Valley and East Valley School Districts
If you have a request in either of these school districts, Spokane Rapids will submit a field reservation request on your behalf. Public schools may also be used on a first-come, first-served basis. However, if there is a scheduled school event or if someone else holds a valid reservation permit, their priority must always be respected and your team should not hold practice at that location.
Please note that Spokane Rapids only assists in submitting the application. We do not control field conditions, goal availability, or whether other teams are scheduled to practice on the fields. Additionally, we have no control over the timeline or final decision for application approvals or denials.
East Valley School District
Spokane Rapids works with the East Valley School District to reserve practice spaces at Trent, Trentwood, and CCS based on availability. Public schools may also be used on a first-come, first-served basis. However, if there is a scheduled school event or if another group holds a valid reservation permit, their priority must always be respected, and your team must not hold practice at that location. Please note that Spokane Rapids does not control field conditions, goal availability, or whether other teams are scheduled to practice on the fields.
West Valley School District
West Valley School District (WVSD) requires coaches to submit field requests directly through the WVSD Facility Use & Field Reservations, as organizations can no longer submit on your behalf. WVSD prioritizes teams with the most West Valley residents and may require a roster with your application. To request our proof of insurance for your application, email us at office@spokanerapids.org. Once your practice location and time are approved, please email your confirmed details to office@spokanerapids.org so we can update our records.
Spokane Rapids works with the City of Liberty Lake to reserve practice spaces at Rocky Hill Park and Liberty Lake Elementary as available.
Please note that spaces at public schools within the City of Liberty Lake limits are also under the jurisdiction of the City of Liberty Lake, not the school district.
Other parks such as Five Fingers Park, Half Moon Park and Orchard Park are first come, first serve locations.
Greenacres Park, Castle Park, Morningside Park, Millwood Park, and Terrace View are all first-come, first-served practice locations. If you are interested in using a different spot—such as another public park, a private school, or a church—please check whether reservations are required. We are happy to provide or complete any necessary paperwork! Once you have confirmed your practice location, day, and time, please email the details to office@spokanerapids.org so we can update our records.
